1. Responsible party
CallTech Technologies (Pty) Ltd is responsible for personal information it processes for its own business purposes. Privacy enquiries may be sent to admin@calltech.co.za.
2. Information we may collect
This may include name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, service requirements, correspondence, billing and transaction references, technical support information, account or system information provided for authorised service delivery, and ordinary website or server security data such as IP address, browser type and request logs.
3. Why we process information
- Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations.
- Providing ICT, support, project and automation services.
- Account administration, invoicing, payment reconciliation and support.
- Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service continuity.
- Meeting legal, tax, accounting, contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Business communication and, where lawful, relevant service updates or marketing.
4. Payment information
CallTech's ordinary website forms are not designed to collect full card numbers, PINs or CVVs. Where Paystack is used, payment information is processed through Paystack's payment environment subject to its own privacy and security practices. CallTech may receive transaction metadata such as customer details, amount, reference, status and timestamps for reconciliation.
5. Sharing
Information may be shared with authorised CallTech personnel, contracted delivery partners such as AlgoaTech where required for the approved scope, professional advisers, hosting or IT providers, payment processors, and authorities where legally required. Access should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
6. Cross-border processing
Some technology or cloud providers may process information outside South Africa. Where applicable, CallTech will use reasonable contractual and technical measures and will consider POPIA requirements for cross-border transfers.
7. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, support, accounting, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security and legitimate business records, after which it should be securely deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
8. Security
CallTech uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service context. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should use approved secure channels when credentials or sensitive configuration information must be exchanged.
9. Your rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, a data subject may request access to personal information, correction or deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing, or raise a complaint. Requests can be sent to admin@calltech.co.za and may require identity verification.
10. Direct marketing
CallTech will respect applicable consent and opt-out requirements for electronic direct marketing. Service and transactional messages necessary to an active business relationship are treated separately from promotional marketing.
11. Cookies
The current site uses limited functionality and may use browser storage for essential user-interface preferences. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and the Cookie Policy should be updated and consent controls added where required.
12. Complaints
Privacy complaints should first be sent to admin@calltech.co.za. Data subjects also retain the right to approach the Information Regulator of South Africa where applicable.
